Sarysma Sarysma began dancing at the age of eleven, studying traditional western dance including ballet, jazz, and tap. In 2004, she was introduced to Middle Eastern dance, and quickly fell in love with dance form. Studying with Doukissa, Maya, and Almaaza, Sarysma eagerly learned all she could. Under the guidance of her teachers, she began performing in events like Pop Raqs and Newark Summer Solstice and at restaurants such as Casablanca in New Castle, DE and Sultan Shish Kabob in Elkton, MD. |
