Amrazhi Debut in Japan

Amrazhi Couture Goes to Japan! |
Planning for the Amrazhi Japan Debut
began back in March of 2005. The three
of us, having both held our debut in
Philadelphia and attended an event in
New Jersey, decided Azhia should come
to Japan for a weekend extravaganza.
We organized an entire weekend of exciting
events including a Trunk Show, a day
of workshops, and both a fashion show
and dance show showcasing some of the lovely dancers in
Osaka.
On Saturday, July 2, Azhia
taught two workshops for a group of talented dancers
who were pleased to have the opportunity
to learn from Azhia and rose to the challenge of learning
a new style and new techniques.
After the workshop we quickly packed
up and began the preparations for the show. The "Belly
Dance Nights" show
took place at a trendy, little nightclub called Visionnaire,
in the center of Osaka. Our talented emcee Rob Horgan
performed his duties both in Japanese and English and
he was a huge hit. He even created a Top 10 List-David
Letterman style!

a Belly Dancer"
#1 Reason: Costumes! Costumes! Costumes! |
We couldn't agree more! We'd like to share
some of the pictures taken that evening of all our beautiful
dancers and models who help make that event a huge
success. |
